Welcome

Now entering its 45th year, the Midland Symphony Guild's open membership boasts a volunteer force of over 400. The Symphony Guild supports the Midland-Odessa Symphony and Chorale through its fundraising efforts which are highlighted by our annual Gala. This two-day event supports our Symphony and Chorale financially, presents our Senior Belles and introduces our Freshman Belles.

Final 2010 Gala Placements

Below are the final placements and they are mandatory.  They must be completed in order to be in good standing at time of registration for 2010-2011.  All assignments in red are assignments made to those who did not sign up on their own, so please make careful note of your assignment.  All Freshmen, Sophomore, Junior and Senior Moms are required to do one Gala Assignment.

We are only 2 weeks away, and things are coming together.  Hopefully everyone has responded by now in order to reserve seating at the Freshman introduction, and the Senior Presentation.  You should have sent in your reply card for Belle Ball as well, with both sides of the card filled out.  Practices are scheduled for all Freshman being introduced and all Seniors being presented, on Tuesday, January 2nd, and Thursday January 4th.  Freshman at 6:00, Seniors at 8:00.  Fathers should be present on Thursday.  Wear the shoes you will wear at the event.   You will receive final instructions at the Practice.

We are looking forward to an awesome event.

The final (as of 1/21/10) Gala Placements list is now available.

2010-11 Patron Renewal, Membership Renewal, and Prospective Membership forms are now available for downloading.

Other activities include the Symphony Belle Program, a New Member-in-Training program, an outstanding National Young Artist Competition (NYAC) competition, community youth education projects and two annual New York City tours.

It is estimated that Guild members annually devote more than 20,000 hours of volunteer service to the Symphony, as well as other nonprofit community events. Membership in the Midland Symphony Guild remains an honor and a privilege as its work continues to be a vital part of the future success of the Midland-Odessa Symphony and Chorale.
