The Midland Symphony Guild is honored to support the Midland-Odessa Symphony & Chorale in the 2007-2008 Season, Enriching Lives Through Music.
The Midland Guild is proud to be in their 45th year as a volunteer support group for the MOSC, the finest performing arts organization in West Texas. Guild members and our Belles volunteer over 20,000 hours of service each season in support of the MOSC. The Guild has over 400 active, patron and new members-in-training and over 300 Freshman through Senior High School Belles. Each Belle volunteers a minimum of 15 hours of service per year. Our Midland Symphony Guilds mission is to provide the MOSC support through financial fundraising, concert preparations, decorations, hosting, ushering, receptions and promotions of the symphony through community awareness. Guild members support the MOSCs talented group of professional musicians by purchasing season tickets, attending concerts and volunteering. The Midland Guild also serves on the MOSC Board of Directors and is a member of the National and Texas Association for Symphony Orchestras (TASO).
This year the Midland Guild will host the popular fundraiser, Table Tops, which is held every other year, showcasing many different Midland designers. The fundraiser is set for October 9 & 10, 2007. The Guilds largest annual fundraiser, Diamond Gala Weekend, will be held February 8 & 9, 2008. The Friday evening formal black-tie ball honors the Senior Belles. Their presentation is followed by a fabulous dinner and dance. The Saturday style-show and brunch includes the introductions of the Freshman Belles. All Belles are thanked for their volunteer work with a formal black-tie dance on Saturday evening.
Congratulations to the Midland-Odessa Symphony and Chorale for 45 years of Enriching Lives Through Music! The Midland Symphony Guild invites you to help in the support of the Midland-Odessa Symphony & Chorale.
