About

The Midland Symphony Guild is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation operated exclusively for charitable and educational purposes, specifically: to benefit the West Texas Symphony (WTS); to financially support the efforts of the West Texas Symphony; and to assist the WTS in the accomplishment of its purposes.

The Guild is comprised of approximately 400+ Active and Patron members, and Belles. Our membership donates hundreds of volunteer hours each year organizing fundraisers, providing hospitality to WTS musicians and guest artists, ushering/hosting WTS concerts and assisting WTS with other projects.

The Guild’s efforts are divided into Standing Committees. Every Active member of the Guild serves on one of these Standing Committees. The functions of each Standing Committee is coordinated by a Chair and overseen by an officer of the Midland Symphony Guild’s Board of Directors.

In addition, the President of the Midland Symphony Guild serves as a voting member of the Midland-Odessa Symphony & Chorale’s Board of Directors. In this way, both organizations remain informed and well connected with one another.
