Missed Assignments and Fines

Missing an assignment happens but should be avoided when possible.  Midland Symphony Guild Belles are required to serve a minimum 15 assignments by their Senior Year to fulfill their obligation and be presented at the Midland Symphony Guild Gala. If a Belle signs up for an assignment and does not cancel within 24 hours of their assignment, they will be assessed a fine. Belles are allowed only 3 missed assignments.

1st Missed Assignment – $25 or 1 additional hour of service on top of the 15 required service hours.

*Belle must make a request to work the additional hour and that request must be approved by Vice President of Belles. It is the obligation of the Belle to verify that the Belle Chairman received the request and that it was approved.

2nd Missed Assignment – $50

3rd Missed Assignment – $50 plus 1 additional hour of service on top of the 15 required service hours.

*Belle must make a request to work the additional hour and that request must be approved by Vice President of Belles. It is the obligation of the Belle to verify that the Vice President of Belles received the request and that it was approved.

*Other restrictions may apply and are at the discretion of the MSG Board.
